OP dry run tmr. i am soooo sure. and when'd we find out? wednesday. and it's not like we had nothing at all to do and had all the time in the world to do op. we had open house nyeh. well okay maybe i didnt do much except befriend ppl but still. what about all the other poor hardworking open house ppl? if not me, then poor them!

in any case, open house was embarassing. okay no, open house was pretty good. everything turned out alright, including the turn out yes. yup if i forgot the fact that the only person who agreed to my sch tour was a donovan from "dunman sec" and tt farin dumped me during the tour to go somewhere and so i took him on a full freaking tour under the hot sun(said some embarrassing things like asking him to try out canoeing etc). okay eventho tt's exactly what i was sposed to do, i didnt exactly want to waste my time on a j1 rockclimber from vj. i mean honestlyy! and also because i said some other embarrassing things like mentioning how i had a classmate who takes french as a h2 subject. the same guy who was apparently vj-boi's french classmate and was told the day before tt he was gonna crash. and tt fungshing and friends knew too tt i was being scammed, even before/during the sch tour. so loser. gar..
oh and also having embarassed myself yet another time doing someth so utterly stupid. i shant elaborate.
oh but i guess i did enjoy open house overall. befrienders dance with farin was just seriously lol cos we sucked and there werent tt many befrienders dancing so wth haha! taa thought me how to play the kompang! haha eventho i kinda sucked but he made me play the 'And's in 1And2And3And4. which was really quite hard so =//
oh i went bugis for buka on wed and shopped at geylang afterwards yay! and buka-ed with nazri
on friday after openhouse and i bought a handbag. O.o

then we walked to esplanade, thru the park and to raffles place mrt. camwhored awhile at the bridge near fullerton.. i got reminded of my dboat race with dragonfly lol..

michael buble's Everything is awesome. almost 2yrs since meandsis watched him at the indoor stadium.. surreal hoho!
oh. i made lasagna today. and it tasted awful.. hahahahaha! partly because i only realized, when i finally put the entire thing together, tt i needed to bake it. and the oven's spoiled.. -.- haha! so i put it in the toaster oven. but alas it didnt exactly work. but the meat sauce was nice anw.. -beams! and hl milk spoils the bechamel sauce thing. yuck
then i felt a need to express my creative self.. so i tried to find a way to recycle the paste sauce bottles. ended up playing with water and floating sheep. then zirah joined me and we made puddles on the table.. =/
oh dad's in kl for some course.. kinda miss him.. couldnt send him off on thursday cos i was spamming hist. and mom didnt send him off either cos she figured she'd get lost if she drove. nyeh. dad's coming back early tues. trying to convince mom to pick him up hmm.. dad hasnt been away in awhile.. cept for hajj with mom in 2001 and the occasional anniversary getaway.. apparently when sis and i were 5 and 4 respectively, and dad was working in japan, mom would wrap us in his 'kain' when we slept at night.. =//
anw raya's coming soon.. mom's sewing like mad. some pretty nice clothes.. cant wait to make ketupats. i think it's a very addictive task lol..
should sleep soon.. planning to pick up mugging again soon. dont wanna kill myself next year bother..

pooey
horrigiweird day..
dad sent us to sch today.. was walking thru the parade square to our class area and ta'a was trying to take my picture again mehs.. then after morning assembly,went up to class. a few ppl were there already and somehow they found out that i was taking attendance this week. i hate being told what to do and esp when it's wrong. dont fuck with me pls seriously. mrs lim wasnt around again and woonie gave his treasurer's report. class funds near deficit so i paid up 10bucks.. maths- i tripped in the lt and fell on the chair and my butt hurt and the girls said i looked obscene.. oh and longqing droppped her pen and was frantically looking for it and only an hour ago, it fell out of my bag! i feel awful urgh.. break- rushed to buy materials for tday cards.. some ppl are completely totally utter idiots sheesh.. did cards during physics.. really really tried paying attention in econs lecture but my mind kept wandering.. break- went to lockers to keep lakshmi's ksbull book. super heavy rain and damn strong winds. haha i was drenched only on one side! didnt realize till afterwards that there was a class staring down at me in awe lawl..
rain is rejuvenating! haha so then me and zr bought chocs from the chocolate tree or something booth yum! then pw! (mdm lim's anal) then pe! haha we played soccer in the hall! awesome game but i was too shagged to really enjoy myself boos.. then after pe i went around taking pictures for pw.. uploading now..
so yupp basically my day was very nyeh..

ohyes. im sure pris and jean would want me to tell the world bout their super awesome trick.. i left my bag outside the dance room place for latin dance on tues. when i came out na was outside, and in place of my bag was a note that said "guess who stole the red pen?".. i suspected the girls and asked na to call. she said something incoherent i spose but i wasnt really paying much attention i guess. then after getting food and all that, i went to look again. so finally yeah went to lt5 for econs and indeed the girls took it. (pris is bad at lying. good pris) lawl lawl very funny ah.. -.- haha!
btw. latin dance was actually quite fun.. many ppl ponned so the class was small and really quite fun.. 4 girls 4 guys so we basically started anew.. then one time we were dancing two couples at a time and halfway thru the song, we realized that ppl were looking at us from the 2nd floor glass panels.. they were coming out of lt5 for lecture so.. yeah lotsa ppl meh..

productive enough weekend i guess.. i kinda like the hist term assignments cos it forces me to update myself with all the new info and i can also pretty much reinforce what i already know.. finished ihist essay by 2pm today which really was shocking.. =/ but i spent quite some time typing it out.. i really should just work on the essay straight on the com but i really am much more productive when i stare at a hardcopy of my work.. i think.. =/

anwws, ohyes i reallyyy dont like latin dance! i cant dance for nuts wth! i mean if it's some kinda jump-around dance or anyth less serious can la cos i'd be able to have fun. but latin dance meh meh? and i realized tt it was my 7th choice! my first was dragonboating which got cancelled prolly due to bad response but still! i thought ppl who got gold for napfa get to choose. and yet i hafta suffer seh! ohwells this tues is our last lesson i think.. phew.
OHYEAH! haha i've been tutoring my sis math and english for the past year and she got an A for her latest math paper woohs! improve by 20marks haha! well the improvement is amazing basically cos she did so lousily for her previous paper.. tt's quite a sad thought. in any case, the improvement was mainly cos she had more practice so yup that means i can get A for math too if i practice more! haha! got 10bucks bonus for sis' A heh..
oohh and the canoe team's prolly going for overseas trip to mt. kinabalu end of this yr.. 600bucks for 5D4N.. quite ex leyh.. OB sabah was 100bucks for 12 days.. nyeh but ncc hq subsidised the bunch of us so.. =/ bah i miss ncc..

my everything
currently, life is as perfect as it can get i spose.
somewhat catching up with maths. picking myself up for econs. somewhat liking sea hist. physics is um.. to be dealt with soon.
pw's still annoying me quite abit and i keep putting it off so.. my fault ah -shrugs..
oh wait. mehh life's not perfect cos i've got an awful haircut!! boos. but ohwells i guess what i like best bout my hair is how i dont quite care how i look now.. as in. my hair's like That. cant get any worse or anyth and i feel quite comfortable.. haha!
saving up money for my sexy red reebok shoes.. 53 bucks so far lol..
ohh and i've decided to do pushups in between lessons! cos my arms are flabbing up gar. my arms shift amazingly fast from fats to muscles to fats.. scary! anw haha na took a video of the guys doing pushups with me cos they didnt wanna lose face wahahs!
hmm. pms pretty much over and i can now look at things with greater perspective.. no more emo cos i've got no time! gotta mug hard and smart. dont wanna retain. i mug for 5A. i mug to row. and i mug for myself. yup yup yup!

wandering
so.. im not too sure what happened to my week actually.. i've kinda been in like a daze.. lesson after lesson.. mug abit here and there(and yet nothing substantial).. bitching a hell lot(i shall blame lakshmi for this lol..) and yeah pretty much pmsing still.
my period is late and its making me teh pissedd. gar
i've been finding lotsa ppl damn annoying lately. i cant tell if they're just suddenly way worse or tt my senses have been heightened from hormone influx or from all the bitching.. =/ ack tsk.
oh i love thursdays btw. i think i like lectures.. oh okay well more of econs(mrneo ftw! ooh and themed ppts are Love!) and ihist.. the rest are either boring or pointless(kingkung indeed).

in any case, i love thursdays esp for pe. haha the girls are an amazing bunch.. eventho i dont
spend much time with them.. well basically they're awesome lah. we played pepsi cola at the track and it was Sho cute. haha! fiona was being damn on with her two-steps. jean&pris were allies. xinge was just haha. longqing was confused. sharyn was changing. lindalakshmina and i were moving round the circumference basically.. lol. floorball was O.o and sharyn got her hand "bitten by a spider". tmr we will see her crawl up the walls. wooh.
anw urgh. damn sianed. what i've learnt over the week. effort =/= results. well not for me at least. it's just Urgh. i think im a pretty motivated person. but when stuffs like this happen. it's just really demoralizing. and damn my writing skills. or lackofit. some ppl are gifted with great literary skills which justsohappens to be super useful in the sorta stuff we do. and yet they cant be satisfied whyy..
i'd like to do real well for promos just to prove that im worthy of my place here. but the thing is, i dont. and i wont.

i am sleeeeey. am currently sposed to be at sea hist lecture. uh well i read my philippines notes redi and kung reads off the noes anw so..

Thirteen! am currently obsessed with numerology like Ne Win in Burma who demonetised burman money someth someth. silly military men.. okay so anw anw, me and cheryl's relay duathlon no. was 13. my hist essay was 2313 words long. i finished it approx 3.13am yst/today. and guess what? it's 13th august today. and just as i was mentioning it again to na today, the class clock showed 8.13 am. woos haha!
anw. relay duathlon wasn't too bad la.. 16 pairs in total i think. me and cheryl came in either 8th or 9th. the logs was pretty screwy. getting our t2 was kinda meh cos everyone was just grabbing and stuffs and i saw cheryl nearing with py and i was like ahhh. anw, 4k row not too bad la. directioning was maddening but i think we rowed well.. haha so when we got to the pontoon, it was my turn to run 4k. omg crazy. crazy crazy. and it was under the noon sun. but the amazing thing was, I finished my race. i did 4k woohoos! okay not that much but mehh my left leg hurts. as in the chord connecting my calf to my thigh feels taut. =/ okay im not a bio student but yeah. painn.. =( yup and our total timing's - 1:38:18. lol i thought it'd be 3 hours..
anw. haha i feel good. i've been pretty pissy and temperamentalfor sometime now. but after we talked on sat.. im in love again.. haha!
ohyeah and moodswings. damn pms la! urghs.

sch today was awesome. yup went back to rg and crashed natl day parade.. ahhh events like this make me miss rg so damn bad bahh.. the performances were as always in superbly unique rg style.. so retarded i like! =) the girls were embarassing themselves like anyth and didnt give a care in the world! you'd hardly find tt in rj urgh.. burst till the end
wooh. did ihc 1.5k today.. CANOE RAMPAGE! =// lol prav cheryl ge and i ran in the same event.. in any case, ge and i paced most of the way.. cheryl too at first.. i feel bad for not keeping pace with her thruout.. considering tt she rushed over for ihc from maths rem(which i went late for meh).. yar so there were about 15 of us with 3 from each house.. right so hh and bb owned.. shared top four-2 hh 2 bb.. ge and i made sure we kept pace and didnt rush.. so yeah slowly overtook a bunch of ppl.. and then finally sprinted the last 100m.. i duno whether i finished 5,6 or 7.. haha i overtook shuninnyy but she ge and i came in like consecutively.. pltnmates ftw! i like sprinting yupp.. anww, pravv! dont worry kay! we're all like degening but i think you did great anw! you finished the race like a true canoeist.. saw mr go bout my grades today.. i wouldnt say that it was a wakeup call, considering that the cts was a flashingg reminder that Hey you better buck up really really soon.. but anws, yeah he said that if i screw up promos, i might get kicked off the team..
it's just that, you know, the whole team's been working their asses off every trg, every drop of our sweat goes into the dream of acheiving team gold.. it seems damn faraway now and super unlikely with nj around but yeah dreaming never hurt anyone so why stop?
but my point is, if i can no longer be part of this team that i love, then well =(

wooh i ponned sch yst. cos my back hurt damn bad again boos! well actually it wasnt thattt bad. but it hurt when i moved la. so yeah. and like the last time i got it checked out (which was the day before nats. -sad), the doctor gave me two days mc. so by my decree, i gave myself one day's mc. -nods..
ooh right so i just rmbed something that happened on sunday. well actually nothing much, but basically i was going around whacking ppl with their balloons annen priya locked her arm round my neck (i think there should be a name for that ryt? O.o) and yeah i was struggling struggling and kicking her butt and carried her and stuffs and WOOH it was damn fun!

awesome
HAHA today was yes -awesome. my first medal in rj lol.. albeit it being a dragonboating comp, but still.. =) well honestly, i didnt even think tt we could get thru to finals, considering how completely noob we were at this sport.. but HEH. dragonfly got 3rd and dragonball got 4th.. yup but dragonball beat us in their heats by 5secs seh.. in any case, Raffles Row for the win!! haha! yar and nj got first. totally pwned all other boats la.. big surprise woohoo..
well actually the admin was damn screwed up and our race got brought forward by like 2hrs cos it was gonna rain.. -.- well honestly! tsk.. but owells it was a good race and we hit our pb so woots! DRAGONFLY, you guys rock. =D
yupp and and nazzer saw our race yay! haha he sent me to raffles place and went off to plop off and mug awhile before my race.. so he left and i joined the rest. then shortly after, we got called to report (got scolded too -.-) and woah woah mad rush. yupp but wooh really means alot to me tt nazzer got to see my race.. yay!
ohh and just as we were launching for finals, i got my left fingers squeezed between two boats gah! painn and it was like purple. ! yeah i was scared i'd do a deb, ie break/splinter my bone and cant row(sad! but deb came to support us yay yay love!) in any case, i was rowing on the right so i just gripped the pedal and woosh! so yeah now it only hurts when i press the slight swelling on my fingers.. =//
okay now tt's over with, MEH my Both my Younger sisters are gonna sign up for guitar lessons! I want guitar lessons! i've bought a guitar since sec1(after collecting our ncc uniforms i clearly rmb) and it's been useless to me ever since! and Now my younger sisters will totally pwn me in this field that im utterly noob at! my pride ahh my pride.. =(
yar so i picked up my dusty rusty guitar and started strumming strumming.. well.. i guess i just gotta straighten out my priorities first.. guitar later la.. cept tt maybe i could get a few lessons from taufiq.. =/ in any case, I NEED TO GET GOOD GRADES! yeah. sigh..

just keep rolling till you hit the wall
today was an amazing day.
lol well not really.. gp was the usual(and jsingh seriously seriously picks on me/na/lakshmi like alot i tell you! -pouts and stamps foot!) anw physics spa was interestingg.. haha it went smoothly i spose.. then econs was fine..
then i finally got my swensens birthday treat from the girls! haha thanks much much muchly Jean Pris Zerui Longqing! you guys are so sweet ahhh.. =) anw zr and lq were sick today so i only had jean and pris as lunchtime buddies and it really was very entertaining.. in any case, How can the girls in 5A be so awesomely nice, sweet and smart?? minus me of course but yeah! <3 08S05A! =)

get the glide
power to the paddle woo! dragonboating is Awesome. t12/14 lawls.. DragonFly is a fun boat! and we're quite syncro la.. and one time during our startbursts, i felt the glide. it's like this high that we kept trying to get again. but we didnt. daymn, as na would said. so lol. I want that glide!! but i cant go for dboat trg tmr cos dad's forcing me to go for ptm! boos.
doing new stuff's fun.. like canoe polo! girls we need to canoepolo againn! i miss it bah. and yar dragonboating.. haha and visiting friends' homes..
crashed cheryl's hse before post-nats dinner.. lawl interesting outing much. i borrowed her skirt and sandals.. skirt only cos we had to.. guys wore shirt and jeans.. what kinda deal is that seh! equality meh? and pfft next year, we eat at somewhere halal kay! the only thing i ate at newyorknewyork was the apple flavoured candyfloss.. =(
in any case, i wanted to write an emo entry actually.. cos everyone's like emo and i felt leftout.. lawl.. so here goes;
i hate maths. im so useless at it. and econs and physics. like wth i feel so stupid stupid stupidd.
and sea hist. it's so annnoyingly boring.

distraction
well these past few days have been in a word- lousy.
okay for a lack of better words pfft. lousy trainings(ache ache ache!). lousy grades(DEUUU). lousy uh relations.. lousy moods.
it's so horrid being so unmotivated.
and meh i promised to work hard for nats '08 but we did some killer sets for dboat trg yst and i wanted to bleah out. but NO CANNOTTT. -.-
and i chose a bad bad bad distraction.
and my back's hurting again.
and basically today's ultimately lousy cos i allowed everyth tt's been bothering me lately to weigh me down. on an ultra long tuesday of all days meh..

dboat trg tmr at SDBA. yup.. oh i forgot to mention. i like dragonboating.. haha! but i really do miss my t1. haven't rowed in ages and im degening as it is. -sad.

go for the gold
you know.when you do someth just so wrong, but you cant help it?
this is so god-awful. im a terrible terrible person..
nationals. i wouldnt say we got trashed.. but dammit we're so super swuay(sp? haha) and like everyth bad that could happen, happened. amazinggg.. imba t1 rowers yangyang and james for example.. they would've totally pwned all other boats in the finals, im sure. -shrugs.
but for all it's worth, i still admire and respect the j2s much muchly for their 100%++ effort during their races.. even if you didnt win that silly piece of medal, us j1s really really look up to you all.. training hard every training. Never giving up even when the odds were against you in the race. Finishing the race like a true champion..
god how i really wanna win the gold for them next year..
guess im still a tad bit sore thinking bout how i've let myself, the team and jiaolian down for not rowing(damn back it's still hurting pffffffft).. im really extremely uberly proud of GENEVE ONG ERN HUI pltnmate/teammate/t1 buddy/confidante! i love you so so much and i dont see how you could've let anyone down when you rowed awesomely and better than I prolly would've if i actually rowed.. you rock and row haha! and next year, let's work our asses off and keep our promise to our j2 t1 fleet kay?

MEH it's not That huge! boos..
in any case, nats are over. our team is finally reunited~! i love love loveee it when the whole team's around yay! watch out everyone- we're aiming for the gold.. =D

inspire
i can see why muddy's the captain of the girls canoeing team. and why she was the encik of rgsncc.
it's not just because she's got imba strong built. or that she's scary. but it's because of her care and concern for her teammates. and her constant need to inspire and empower others to do the same.
im glad i joined raffles row. not only because it gives me a feeling of great power when i glide over water. or the growing sense of determination to win as i pull that extra stroke despite my aching arms to pass the last buoy.
but most importantly, im glad i joined raffles row because i got to know so many great people. people like muddy who are so imba strong and her emails are full of inspiring stories tt make me feel that i can actually win gold if i gave it my all. and need i mention my t1 inspiration? yangyang. i dont know how she does it. she's Amazing and i really really will work my ass off to be where she is now. she puts in 110% effort or more in every stroke she pulls or very weight she lifts. That's how you win gold. and That's how I will win gold.
and not forgetting the rest of the j2s in the girls team. they're really an amazing bunch. they're really nice people and they put in So much effort during trainings. and i really will miss them very much when they leave. let's hope they do tremendously well for their As and of course nats too.
in any case, yup nationals are in 2 days and i guess im ready. i regret not going for trg yst but i spose i needed the rest. am not in the best condition to row but hell noone's gonna let me win just because im hurt..
my dad's been saying recently tt we should declare our goals out loud so tt there's no turning back. so yeah, i will get to finals. cos i choose to win.

back hurts.
wokay am back from genting which was awesome really. well not really really but yeah kinda fun. only complaint is that ALL THE FOODS ARE BLOODY EX! which is like so super annoying cos msia's sposed to be The place to eat/binge cept tt i felt bad everytime i bought food. yup and we realized tt the price of goods/food increase with latitude so basically i ate quite abit when we got off the mountain whee! boos so sad..
did quite some interesting stuffs there like the spaceshot(freefall woosh!) and the sky venture(anti-gravity ftw!) among other things.. it really was a nice vacation cos i got plentyy of rest and did many enjoyable things and yeah i havent visited tt place in a long time.. well 8yrs to be exact i guess..

ohh and on our last day, we left genting and went up to colmar tropicale for abit. well we didnt go up up but we did visit the rabbit farm which was somewhat diff from when we went in 2004. i've got some battle scars from the visit haha! and yar we fed the deers. their saliva is teh gross. but we fed them anw cos they were so hungryy. yup and we tried the archery thing and the guy gave me an extra free game(sometimes it pays to be a girl ><)
wokay am back from genting which was awesome really. well not really really but yeah kinda fun. only complaint is that ALL THE FOODS ARE BLOODY EX! which is like so super annoying cos msia's sposed to be The place to eat/binge cept tt i felt bad everytime i bought food. yup and we realized tt the price of goods/food increase with latitude so basically i ate quite abit when we got off the mountain whee! boos so sad..
did quite some interesting stuffs there like the spaceshot(freefall woosh!) and the sky venture(anti-gravity ftw!) among other things.. it really was a nice vacation cos i got plentyy of rest and did many enjoyable things and yeah i havent visited tt place in a long time.. well 8yrs to be exact i guess..

yup then we fetched grannies from melaka. where i discovered tt i've got a 9yr old aunt.. =/ yes and we ate ikan bakar dinner which was amazingg. the fried sotong and the fat fat prawns and the heavenly ikan bakar was gosh YUM. and i bought souveniers yay! and we finally reached home at 6.00 after sending grannies home.. wooh tiring..

croc spotter!
well apparently water activities at macritchie's suspended for now cos some croc's been spotted.. lawl and to think i've capped there like a million times..
trg today was ultra gg. 2 2k rows, 3 500s (rowed with the j1 k2s cos the j2 t1s were ready to go by the time i came.. =/) then we took a break. and thenn zomg pyramids. burtst 30 slow 30 burst 40 slow 40.. and it increased up till a peak of 70. and went back down. then 2km slow row.. 13km in total. OMG GGXX! haha! my strokes were whacked like hell but the main thing was "DONT STOP" my left arm died and tt weird electric jolt-like feeling ran up my arm like consistently gah..
but muddy was nice and knew better and hence there were no land sets..
got home early today and knocked out for 2hrs. and i've been pw-ing ever since. screwed up headache now lol..

fly over water
hohum yeah busy busy. well not really. i should be mugging now but yar..
ooh family outing with mom's side last sunday(27th lol!) at sentosa! haha havent been there in awhile and that place really is nice now.. yupyup but the weather was so freaking hott. so i basically ate alot alot then soaked in the water, ate and went back into the water. played interestingly spaz games then finallyy omg the Luge which is almost like a go-cart without an engine and the mechanics is really simple but uber uber cool whee! it was kak mimi's treat, 16bucks per person for 3 rides including the sky ride wheeee! omg super super fun and we were racing and stuffs yayy! and then we camwhored lol.

trg yst was nice.. i love it when the whole team's there. haha the atmosphere feels so much more different. i know it's been hard for the rest of the team, not getting enough water time and having land trg with only so few of us ard but i really admire how everyone's persevered and their determination and passion to row when they do get into/on the water. lol i just love my teammates to bits whee~! and it's so nice to be lovedd haha! bimqi: siti have i told you tt i love you? me: yeah like about a million times, but you can tell me again bimqi: SITI I LOVE YOU~! *with high voice in ultra bim-fashion.. =)

yeah and just so liyanaa wouldnt whine bout being unmentionable, i went out with FariNa and melz yst yupp! wanted to go seoul garden but some ppl didnt want to pfft. so we had lunch at far east, then walked to hereen, getting King's tin roof brownie ice cream on the way, roamed aroundd and then popped by 711 for drinks and finally went home. woo so excitingg.. haha!

cats go miaow
yeah but they dont respond to miaow. mehh
lol slack day.. only 12/28 5Aints turned up for morn assembly.. haha and since gp was free block and i desperately needed to grab someth from home, me and kindkind jean rushed back to cck. zomg haha we made it back to sch in less than 2hrs by taking bus there and mom gave me money for cab back.. ooh we got this uber funky 8seater incl driver cab and the starting fare was only $2.80! how cool is that?? haha! yeah and i was telling jean tt i was becoming man then somehow the cab was playing this song tt went "im a macho man.." O.o
yupp anw fast forward. oh we gave mrs chia her farewell card. so sad and shingay was making dying cow sounds.. =/ yupp then na and i went to fareast for lunch and were joined by melz. then we walked walked, na bought starbucks, melz browsed make-up..
anw anw then i crashed na's hse! melz went to meet eileen and farin was joining us later. YAY TO FREE FOOD! oh and na owes me 1.50 now cos she bet wrong tt farin's cab was driving up.. =/ yupyup then i prayed while na showered and farin came along and she ate and then she prayed while i played with na's cats.. whee! thenn, we went cycling! in our green skirts! woo! haha to na's hot neighbour! yupp and the shortcut to the hdb blocks is super cool! anw then we cycled down the hill thing a grand total of 3 times yay! and i was soaking thru my shirt bahh..
then na's family was home! so we prayed and headed home! am shagged bah..
oh and it's been almost a week since Siapa Pembunuh Joseph Jumain?.. it was really greatt overall ah. despite all the hiccups here and there and the crap during rehearsals and stuff, i think we pulled it off really well.. i kinda screwed up but owells.. in any case, SPJJ was really and awesome experience and i kinda miss the dudes at rehearsals.. =/
June hols = mugggg! really needta catch up. but zomg many many trgs!

meet me at the office now
says mr hodge. woots omg guess what exciting thing just happened about 15mins ago?
hahahs! okay basically, FariNa and i went to j8 to get farin's black/red blouse. then she wanted to treat us to food since her dad got a bonus or somethg and she felt generous. yupp! then we decided to go fareast for cheaper food. then we ended up eating anatalia. BEEF DONER SET FTW!
yay then we went to lido to collect na's skirts (no more table cloth boos..). then we took 162 to macritchie. then farin the genius decided tt she wanted to walk thru macritchie cos it was oh-so-scenic. well it was la. and i saw jiaolian. haha! and i was walking ard with my bloo helium balloon cos i got it from the MR blutality thing. yeah then jiaolian waved at me and said "wah so happy! -point at balloon" whahahs!
and thennn. we were walking along the road opp rj (where we waved at some rj trackers at the track) then ia accidentally let go of my balloon! wwahhh so sad. =( so the two buggers took pleasure in my misery and were taking photos. >:/
yar then we were right next to rj and walking in the heat when we heard someone call out to us. and zomg there he was with his head sticking out of his car window. apparently farin darling had her shirt tucked in all the excitement of macritchie. DAMN SMART LAA! then he made a u-turn and stopped his car near the busstop and wanted farin to cross over. omg jaywalkkk? wahahs. then farin was gesturing to him whether he wanted her to cross over then finally he yelled to us to meet at his office immediately. and we were like wth shit. hahahahaha. yeah then we were at the foyer when his car rolled in. his son was in the back seat haha! anw so he rolled down the window and hip hop music was blasting lol.. yeah and for the first minute he scolded us with a neck rest round his neck.. O.o yeah so he asked na why her socks were so high. -.- and why farin's shirt was tucked out. so we told him we were walking thru macritchie. and he was like O.o whyy? so luckily na had her camera so farin said we were taking pictures~! then he excused us since we were j1s and he had "a lot more time to catch you(us)". hmm

lest we forget
yeah and ora was damn funny. haha! i came late cos i woke up late and left early too for drama rehearsal at rj..
basically i was made to stand on a chair with bimqi and we yelled ICE CREAM loud loud. wahahs! then we were also joined by ge yay! and ppl were looking at us amusedly and i wondered why and i realized only sometime later tt it's cos rjcanoe was the only cca with ppl standing on chairs and yelling. haha shameless! yup and our various promo methods! like the diff-pitches one, the sound surround, the sound surround with spinning, the cannon, some others and The siti. haha~! omg the canoe team is damn fun and lols. liyanaa thought we were noisy like a typical bunch of jocks. =( pfft.
oh the coffee ice cream was really good haha!

actually it was a squirrel. and it fell off a tree. : sepandai-pandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke tanah juga.. wah damn loud sia.
yupp Women's Open was amazingly exhilarating. well um obviously i didnt get any medal. despite my event being a straight finals. but yeah.. basically first place went to this uber imba j2 hci rower then nus and nus then yeah i got 4th. acjc j1s came in 5th and 6th. yeah and it seriously was a damn close race la. 1.20.**, 1.21.**, 1.21.4*, 1.22.20. sad
looking on the bright side, it's my first race. i lost by less than 1 sec to NUS. who's wayy more experienced than me considering tt i only started canoeing 4mths ago. and only started bursting 2-3weeks ago. yupp! and yeah i was kinda mehh-ed after my race and went off somewhere to stone alone and rmbed tt. sometime 4mths ago, after my first water trg, i cried cos i felt inadequate and was terrified of the water. today i was sad cos i missed 3rd place by a split second. i've come a long way and i should instead be proud of myself. yes! =/
oh after pondering long long about urinals and female toilets' cubicles while pee-ing at a public toilet, i've come to the conclusion tt:
1) women's toilets are a waste of resources
2) men are fine with urinals because there's no need for them to remove anyth tt'll expose very much
3) why dont women just not have cubicles tt are less enclosed? = save resources!
4) but it's just tt wo-man over time have developed some sense of malu and hence the need for cubicles
5) we should all just pee in the open
6) like the time i pee-ed in the bushes at dairy farm during ifc for ncc. and discovered afterwards that right behind me was the cyclists' track. damn exciting

so tell me why i should care
cos i do. omg like wth i am stressed. women's open is this freaking sunday and i am still not imba enough to pwn all the other rowers. i am training oh-so-often and feeling lethargic half the time.
drama production's in 10 days and my acting's super off and i have no idea how im gonna make it work in time.
and on top of all that. there's still the class thing. like fuck it pls. it's not just a one person problem tho it seems that way now. and like most ppl are so bloody thick they dont see that they're the problem. im bitching i know. but im only human. and if talking and being vague about certain issues worth mentioning isnt getting thru their bloody thick skulls then like wtg i do need to rant somewhere. i dont see why we hafta be direct bout the camera issue when like we dont mention names when it comes to the clique thing. and omg i duno why i bother! like mehh when i come into the lib after 30mins of handling other ppl's problems, my pw grp was scattered everywhere and work unfinished! and if you bloody think you can handle the problem better then by all means go ahead and try.
and everyone tells me tt if noone wishes to cooperate, why should i care? why should i bother stressing over someth that cant be salvaged and like royce said "there's no situation to be salvaged" maybe he's right. it's all fine and dandy.

should we pretend now?
camp was a screw up.
i was stressed beyond belief and i highly doubt tt anyth was truly solved..
it's like in just 1 1/2 days, in expressing all our opinions, we've actually opened a pandora's box. it scares me that there's possibly more coming our way.. then you wonder whether it's time for us to bottle/box up our thoughts and stuff lest it gets worse. but then we'll never be able to solve existing/future problems tt way.. so right. im pretty sure everyone's still talking bout it. hush hush. bother..
in any case, i really enjoyed the activitites (save the night walk) and the company was truly awesomee.. haha! got to spend more time with some ppl in class and understanding some others a little more and getting to see a diff side of almost everyone. man is so multi-dimensional. whee! right um i shall comment on the activities in brief i guess
1) bus ride- haha i had a bad feeling bout camp
2) lunch- YUM! (weird fish, squeaky veggie and rice lols)

very interesting way of hyping the class up. we rocked essentially and i loved how we got excited over nothing.. =)

was scary. i always knew i was afraid of the dark. but good god i never knew i was That scared. haha! so a huuge thankyou to taufiq for walking with me eventho you prolly wanted to do the solo. =D but afterwards, when we were sitting ard talking, the inky night really was very nice..

the discussion was fruitful i guess.. everyone pretty much gave very good comments and pointed out quite alot of stuffs that can be worked on.. particularly cliques i guess. i think it was the night. everyone was being very open and stuff. and i said what i had to i guess. not that it mattered. but yeah i tried..
8) before knock out
lol. showering was niiice.. =) we played in the courtyard area where jeffrey thought us funny dance moves and his cool dislocated dance was proded.. and zomg he injured his hand when he attempted the handstand.. i think i taught him wrong.. =/ hmm polar bear was fun la.. and i think binging on chips before sleeping is nice. heh
9) SLEEP
was haha! our accomodation was really cool actually. us girls got the second floor and sleeping on the wooden floor was nice enough la.. i slept under the fan without realizing haha!

well to sum up camp. i guess we just hafta accept that everyone's unique and our personalities may clash muchly. but to the best of our ability, we must understand each other and not be too critical of others who dont act the way we expect them to. cliques are still basically inevitable. and i dont expect the whole class to be ultra chummy. i just want some form of cohesion within the class. being able to put in the effort to achieve someth together. i've seen it happen quite alot thruout the camp. so let's just bring it back to rj context. im sure we can work someth out. and what royce said was right. saying tt our class is destined not to be united is a self-fulfilling prophecy.. woots go 5A!
for all the unsolved problems, i guess we ought to settle it soon.

i was stressed beyond belief and i highly doubt tt anyth was truly solved..
it's like in just 1 1/2 days, in expressing all our opinions, we've actually opened a pandora's box. it scares me that there's possibly more coming our way.. then you wonder whether it's time for us to bottle/box up our thoughts and stuff lest it gets worse. but then we'll never be able to solve existing/future problems tt way.. so right. im pretty sure everyone's still talking bout it. hush hush. bother..
in any case, i really enjoyed the activitites (save the night walk) and the company was truly awesomee.. haha! got to spend more time with some ppl in class and understanding some others a little more and getting to see a diff side of almost everyone. man is so multi-dimensional. whee! right um i shall comment on the activities in brief i guess
1) bus ride- haha i had a bad feeling bout camp
2) lunch- YUM! (weird fish, squeaky veggie and rice lols)
3) punching number game:
very interesting way of hyping the class up. we rocked essentially and i loved how we got excited over nothing.. =)
4) high elements:
CRC- hahahahaha. funneh
Rock wall- belaying is tiring. and if what taugay blogged is right, then i was one of the two who climbed both walls. and okay maybe he was faster bah.
Abseiling- meh fast?
Pampers pole- i think i should've attempted to catch the rubber thinger. but haha it was amusing nonetheless
5) wash up + dinner
cooking is fun! i love cooking! haha! jean is an uber responsible mudder hen but she really should lighten up and like Eat. haha but the food really was superb. esp when we mix random stuffs together! but not all concoctions.. -looks pointedly at certain ppl..

drama was okay. drama's always just okay. i need to make my acting phwoarr. but first i need to make it good. but honestly, how can i expect myself to improve if i dont rehearse cept for fri and sat. practice makes perfect after all. so yeah. yay to sucky acting and feeling sian-ed

wokay am in the com lab now.. finally completed my hist essay assignment bout sometime ago.. na and taufiq still battling on.. jiayou ppl..
basically my week was quite shitted. haha! busy like anythgg and am exhausted most of the time bother..
currently my back is hurting like OUCH and i have nooo idea how to stretch properly. bah..
didnt go for monday's trg cos of drama tech rehearsal.. and next monday we'll be off for class adventure camp at dairy farm.. ooh what fun.. yar and we have water trgs on wed, thurs and sat.. well point is i wont have any land trg for quite some time mehh..
wed: 2 2km warmup, 4 500m sets, 4 250s, 10 x 40 startbursts
thurs: 5 rounds monkey hill. 2km warmup, 2km timing, 1km slow, 2km slow, 3 250s, 5 x 40 start bursts.
basically = ggxx
anw, am rowing t1 250m for women's open on 13th May.. die la.
and Siapa Pembunuh Joseph Jumain is on 19th May. anyone interested? lols

random things
i duno why im doing this but since i happened to see it on na's blog and im obliged to continue with whatevers so yeah..
Each player of this game starts off by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. i freak out sometimes when im changing in front of the mirror and happen to look at my shoulders and arms.
2. i shy from the limelight when it shines on me, but i crave for attention when i dont get it (or so na claims)
3. i feel awkward in big groups sometimes
4. i find the idea of slash fascinating but im essentially a homophobe and i'd freak out if i saw anything uberly slashy
5. i have no big plans for my future cept maybe marry and have 4-10kids

of Bimbs and Men
one star course today was uber lol.
1: we were told to practice our strokes whilst the instructor tested kexin's capsize drill. so being obedient children, we did for awhile then decided to raft up. so there were like 11 of us girls just drifting around in the pond. then somebody(i have a feeling it's seleene) screamed "giant/big/monitor lizarddd!" and OMG almost everyone was screamingg and looking positively retarded. and hahaa geneve ong ern hui, in an attempt to break raft, was pushing me towards the 'monitor lizard'. wth thanks ahh! lol in any case, jianrong, deb and i rowed towards the 'monitor lizard' which was really just a log/branch. haha and like someone was screaming to us to stay away from it. i whacked the 'monitor lizard' with my paddle woots..
moral of story: in the face of 'monitor lizards' do one's bimbness show. not to mention a test of friendship -looks at ge pointedly. =)
2: CANOE POLO ROCKS MY SQUISHY SANDALS! CANOE POLO IS LOVEEE! CANOE POLO JUST ALMOST BEATS BASKETBALL! wahahahas damn fun laa! 9 girls vs 10 guys. and guess what? WE WON! WHEE! but that's prolly cos the guys kept capping and so at any one time, there were like 3 guys mia. but still, we owned them so HAHA!
3: i need to buck up for drama. production's in less than a month and im still nooby at my arm gestures. wtg..
school's been ACK so far. am trying to study as much as possible on top of trgs, rehearsals and fatigue. i know i can do better. so i must. some people really are very lucky to have so much time to study.. it's just so frustrating when everyone's doing so much better than i am academically, and tt there are ppl who look down on me cos of my horrible grades. i cant use my hectic schedule as an excuse cos my snrs have managed to pull thru with good academic results. i just hafta put in the extra effort if i want to do the same. and god knows just how badly i wanna pull my grades up.

right okay whatever
i am so tiredd.
pretty much completed my part for the gpp for pw. i doubled my pi wordcount woo!
okay random stuffs tt's happened over the past week and a half
1: schizo weather today! it was so super hot up till the point when we got into the water to row. choppy waters and super strong winds kept blowing my paddle away. wtg damn hard to row ah! and haha our directioning was baddd.
2: jiaolian wants the snrs + snr team girls to compete in women's open in 2weeks (mothers' day). i might be competing in my t1. duno ah pfft scary..
3: i retook my sit-and-reach for napfa yst in hope tt i could at least scrape a B(my first ever C wtg??). in any case, i only improved by 2cm which was still non-B. i was so pissed off tt i went to the pullup bars and did 3.5 pullups. yarr then after pe, i did 4. O.o lol exciting..
4: i tied first place with leening for napfa ipulls for j1 girls. they recorded us getting 50(i thought i did 52 but owells) 2yrs ago, i rmb being uber awed when leening did like 40+. lols
5.exco interview was okay.. pretty much just whacked the interview and didnt worry too much. after all, it really is quite obvious who the 4 ppl who ought to lead the girls 0708 canoe team. haha! jiayou ppl we're still a team and everyone's a leader in her own way.. =))
5: i've been quite motivated to study. still need to catch up on physics, duno wth's been covered in the past term and a half ++. sea and internatl hist essays to write.
6: sea hist presentation. LOL. frustating shit pfft pfft whatever.
7: my sony ericsson screwed up last thurs. couldnt even switch on cept for the screen blinking on and off. sent it for servicing on friday and collected it yst. since it was under warranty, i got a new motherboard(sp?) which makes it look almost brand new. and new earphones too which should've costed me 38bucks. heh
8: i was sick on thurs. well not too sick ah. but sick. yeah
9: CLASS ADVENTURE CAMP! in 2weeks time haha. doesnt sound too fun la.. no water element mehhh! but i guess it beats staying in sch and sitting thru dull lessons. and YAY to class bonding.

got 17th for 2.4km run.. lol taugay beat me by 1sec.. so yup in any case i got 12.25mins which is i spose good enough for me. personal best whee..
did our 5 items today.. yst during trg i tried doing my situps and got 61 in tt one min.. and tt was like after our sets [pyramids: pushups situps ipulls total 200 + slow pushups and team run]. so i was thinking hmm maybe i can get 70 today since i wouldnt be as tired.. yar and i was hoping to beat the girls' top scorer who did 55.. only 7 of us took our napfa today and so i was the odd one out for situps. so when it was my turn, the others went to stretch while sharyn held me down and the teacher scrutinized my form and stuffs. in all honesty, i get superbly demoralized when ppl get too critical of me. so yeah. i did 46. so yup paiseh-ed by the fact tt i planned to do 70 and ended up 24 short.
i was pretty bummed but i was like -puffs up chest. it's okay! so we trooped over to the sit-and-reach stn. i got only 40cm. like wtg yst i tried it out during trg and i got 47cm.. tried out some new thing where we opened our legs slightly wider but within the box or someth. spent more effort keeping my legs in than anyth else. but then again, it's sposed to make it easier for us so i guess i cant use this as an excuse for getting my first ever c/d. lol

today's a Very happy day.. =)
well actually i had a crappy start.. dad woke me up at 6.15 to pray(waking me up from a very strange dream =/) and i was thinking, eh? it's been awhile since dad had to wake me up cos i always wake up early for sch.. then it hit me O.O SHIT DAMN LATE! and i was like astaghfirullah-ing about a million times and dad assumed i was freaking out(which i was) but actually i was assessing the situation in my head ah. then dad said he'll send me. PHEW! right yeah so i showered then waited for dad to shower cos he was going straight for work. OMG took so long ah and i was spazzing like anything. i sprinteddd right when dad dropped me off at macs. =/
in any case, i felt good today. did my 10km set in my t1 baby with t1 buddies ge meera and michelle. muddy:"woah t1 fleet" haha! yupp then the rest came.. then the four of us had no paddles cos silly us passed to teammates(got scolded afterwards for tt mehh) then nice j2s lent us theirs. rowed a k2 with michelle yay! we took my seat off first and rowed like one round around the pond and i asked to stop cos my butt was cramping.. haha yupp so then we tried putting my seat on.. we pushed off the pontoon, rowed abit then capped.. we laughed. lol..
then bern and jianrong decided to take us nooby k2 rowers and i got bern haha! rowed abit then bern decided to rescue a capped fellow j1 guys' k2. i was like "ahh dont wannttt" but we did anw. but they capped again right after we saved them hmm.. yupp then we rescued a c2 too! haha! lol so anw with bern(ahh she's so imba i felt so bad for capping cos she said it was save-able but i think i panicked and tilted too much -.-), i capped a grand total of TWO times in a double seated k2, did at least 3 rounds round the pond. and this is my FIRST time. i feel so accomplished. =D
then drama rehearsal was quite fun. the dudes are fun to hang out with haha.. oh but zomg i was binging like anything ah. tsk me..
Yesterday, we celebrated my sisters' birthdays early. since my 11 yr old sis is so fascinated with the great galaxy, cuz brought us to the observatory at the omnitheatre to watch.. *drumrolls* SATURN! lol it just looked like an internet photo.. but yeah there were two bright dots which were apparently saturn's moons.. woots! yeah then we waited sometime until they finally shifted the hugeee telescope to view.. *drumrolls summore* ORION NEBULAR! i didnt know wth tt was la but it just looked like a cluster of stars.. i am such a noob. in any case, without the telescope, we can actually see saturn, apparently. tho it looked more like a brightt star.. but it really was very pretty thru the telescope..
and the rest of the week was pretty much uneventful. lol exciting life i lead..

brace yourself
i was early for water trg today. so i went to sit by the water and psyched myself for trg.. whee pretty pretty macritchie..
jiaolian made us row 10km.. soo didnt come so i rowed with ge and meera who left early for her onestar.. yup then we finished around 10am where the other dudes then went into the water.. was stoning abit until muddy said that we could go row again. um yeah.. so i grabbed a t1 and was carrying it to the pontoon when jiaolian told me to put it back. i thought i grabbed some random dude's boat ah. but apparently he wanted me to take a k1. i almost died of shock.
but obviously i didnt. tho at first i capped bout 3-4 times without leaving the pontoon at all. -.- hardly even managed to brace the boat.. i was seriously damn terrified of letting go of my deathgrip on the pontoon.. and i had trouble getting back on the pontoon cos i was too short. -.- in any case, i had the brillianttt idea of taking off the seat and michael who was probably bored, came over to help by giving me the necessary push. yupp my first wo seat try ended up in capsize. budden on my 2nd try, i managed to actually row! ZOMG WHEEEEEE! but my butt was lodged at the base and i was imba and couldnt adjust myself. bah.. so i roweddd and tried to figure out how to work the rudder(ZOMG RUDDER!) and then i headed straight for a somehow stationary t2. and then i capped. -.- so then i swam back to the pontoon with my boat. i swam haha! I CAN ACTUALLY SWIM! lol okay nvm.. k1s are damn smooth in the water ah.. how to be loyal to my t1 like that? =(
oh then the little problem afterwards. it's okay ppl we learn from mistakes! =/ yup and then sets! we did ard 250pushups mehh..
then drama rehearsal was relatively pointless but relatively fun.. haha! and yeah bout my little love scene no chemistry problem. i have two possible excuses for that. FariNa agrees with one but not really the other. hmm. owells nvm
okay my week's been pretty much uneventful la. how sad.. cept maybe for thursday night, after trg. i waited like damn long for a 67. and when it actually came, the bus was like freaking full. annen somehow there was some big argument crap. cos a 20someth yr old girl was asking a middle aged man next to her to stop leaning on her. bloody idiot got damn pissed off and yelled vulgarities like anything. "dont say i molest you, i f*** you ah!" -.- logic, much? in any case, the dude made a quick exit when it was announced tt the police was coming.. i ended up getting off and waiting for the next bus.. waste my time botherr..
in any case, the incident got me to thinking bout gender issues.(gp lol lol) like how there Are cases where women make fake reports for some reason or another. maybe he was pissed off by the fact that men are subjected to such unfair treatment simply because women are the weaker race and hence they need to be protected and tt their word is taken for truth and that the accused male is "guilty until proven innocent". budden again tt's bloody bullshit in this case cos the despicable man actually tried to hit her for no reason whatsoever. what kind of man hits a woman who's like 10yrs his jnr? loserish coward tsk. thank goodness for the good men who actually held the guy back. am even more impressed by the dude who actually stopped some other guy who wanted to hit the 'despicable man'.. sigh strange world we live in.
