i can see why muddy's the captain of the girls canoeing team. and why she was the encik of rgsncc.

it's not just because she's got imba strong built. or that she's scary. but it's because of her care and concern for her teammates. and her constant need to inspire and empower others to do the same.

im glad i joined raffles row. not only because it gives me a feeling of great power when i glide over water. or the growing sense of determination to win as i pull that extra stroke despite my aching arms to pass the last buoy.

but most importantly, im glad i joined raffles row because i got to know so many great people. people like muddy who are so imba strong and her emails are full of inspiring stories tt make me feel that i can actually win gold if i gave it my all. and need i mention my t1 inspiration? yangyang. i dont know how she does it. she's Amazing and i really really will work my ass off to be where she is now. she puts in 110% effort or more in every stroke she pulls or very weight she lifts. That's how you win gold. and That's how I will win gold.

and not forgetting the rest of the j2s in the girls team. they're really an amazing bunch. they're really nice people and they put in So much effort during trainings. and i really will miss them very much when they leave. let's hope they do tremendously well for their As and of course nats too.

in any case, yup nationals are in 2 days and i guess im ready. i regret not going for trg yst but i spose i needed the rest. am not in the best condition to row but hell noone's gonna let me win just because im hurt..

my dad's been saying recently tt we should declare our goals out loud so tt there's no turning back. so yeah, i will get to finals. cos i choose to win.
