wooh canoe gopeng, perak trip was awesome. most awesome 4 days this year yeah! from amazingly priced yummy malaysian food, to lol-ing games, to scandalous scandals, to angel-mortaling, to painful barefooted caving, to bumpy white water rafting, to (amazingly acurate) fortune telling, to cool rock climbing, to hot instructors, to crazy high elements, to fangirling, to emo-ing, to birthdays, to forging a common bond thru "sharing of experiences", to uberly sweet notes all around, to anti-climatic tummy pains for most.
having summarised the whole trip to a simple enough paragraph, i hope i've captured the essence of the entire trip, which truly was wonderful.

i really got to know alot of ppl alott better and i must say tt i now have alot more reason to miss rjc next year. what an awesome bunch of ppl to have as teammates.. both guys' and girls' teams.

awesome
today while rowing with py in our t1s, py was telling me of all the diff pains she's had recently on diff parts of her body, and i said "well at least you hurt at diff exciting places and it's like temporary", referring of course to the for-as-long-as-i-can-rmb pain in my upper back. with my awesome luck, i got an exciting new injured-area now.
i was rushing off for econs cos i was late. got the keys from jiaolian, only to find tt the bag shed wasnt locked. then i grabbed my bag off the shelf thing, not realizing tt a bunch of weights were underneath it, and so Plop! went two 1.25kg weights onto my right foot's middle toe. damn pain la. now it's like purplish black. woo sexy..
ohwells so trg was alright. my body most definitely has something against t1s cos the ache in my back came back. nyeh. after rowing 8k and taken our break, py and i asked jiaolian to let us row k2 and he said okay! albeit reluctantly.. haha! k2 is imba nice compared to t1! i took 50-60 strokes for 500m on k2 whilst i once took 125 strokes for 500m in t1. NYEH BATHTUB!

rightt. -takes train to negeri sembilan.
ohwells. day was quite alright.. finally went for trg again.. i rowed k2 with jiaqi and it was pretty good.. rowed 10k before i hadta leave at 9.45 but we capped only once whee! and tt's only because the annoying strange motor boat thing was making hugee waves.. nyeh.
oh and i have a theory about jiaolian. py and i are confirmed t1s. but i get chucked into a k2 if they have an odd no. and py's expected to just train and train in her t1. yupp. gotta trust jiaolian la.. eventho he can be damn mean sometimes tsk.. he's nice enough to me so i shant complain. yar..

farin the fart consultant
aights cos she can tell you what kind of flooring fart is most audible against. haha!
so flockey cum basketball carnival with SpoS today was fun.. the kids are really really really very cute laaa. cept tt im not too sure just how old they are.. cos like there was this little boy who was sho cute and he's like 13. =/
so anww, farin and i were like the opponents at the defense station and farin the lazy bum refused to run and kept feeding them free pucks. -.- lol and seeing the old big ppl was interesting, like pong and ms haryani (rmbs 2005 and the crap the rg volunteers got). hrmph but ohwells.
so basically the flockey stations ended in about an hour at 10. and prize presentation was scheduled at 11.45.. lol so basketball stations were still ongoing but alott of ppl were just milling around looking quite bored.. oh i forgot to mention tt towner gardens was infested with rj ppl doing cip.. like ALOT. kinda strange but fun enough la. ame's special friend was assigned to be scorekeeper for our defense station yup..
so anw. we were all bored. we had our packet lunch(which was insufficient) and i went to bug the kids around.. hung around a few kids who wanted to play soccer and then somehow a soccer ball appeared and then the rj guys took over.. =/ so i wandered to the pullup bars with jeanting and then the monkey bars where a brown/black lizard appeared and jt screamed.. haha!
yup then i duno just wandered around and stuffs and ended up back at the pullup bars with farin where i encouraged a group of boys and girls to do pullups.. =D
then wandered to the basketball courts where we played with the kids summore.. oh there were also sports sch ppl and i recognized one of the girls as my pri sch jnr!! hahahaha she was like my best bud's buddy.. hoho! ohkay then blabla took another packet of food blabla then finally walked thru the rain to kembangan mrt.. farin and i are rain stoppers/starters. anti-gravity ftw! oh and i wanna be a mommy!

when i got to cck, i followed farin to buy waffles. then she went off then i went to buy waffles too. haha then i emo-ed at the lib for 2 whole hours. read, slept and read summore. i finished Haunted. went to look for chuck palahniuk's books and found.. Haunted. aper seh! i want more books bah.. right then i went down to buy oreo coffee! and finally nw was free at 5pm. so we went to the pasar malam and i bought alot of food.. and nw bought me water chestnuts cos he loves me yes! everyone should buy me food yupyup!
hmm. im not lovesick. i cant have been lovesick for like 2yrs and 8 months of my life seh. there's a difference between being lovesick and being in love. im in love. not lovesick. im not sick of love. i like love. it makes me.. uh happy. and sad. but mostly happy. and cos the person i love makes me happy. and sad. but mostly happy. but i guess tt's what love is about ryt? i guess. ohwells..

aights. too very idealistic = bad. i need to learn to be content with what i get. especially when ppl have put in so much effort to please me.
nw and i shared a Large meat something cheese lava crust pizza. huge appetites ftw! and 'jamming' was really quite entertaining. hot photo heh heh.
ohwells. i got the mcs raya vid thing. 878 photos. zomg camwhores.. haha! the compiled video thingey is awesomely retarded and funny. my sisters find taa amusingly lol. haha!
very moodswingy this week. cant seem to get myself to do anything productive. cept for short bouts of hist-ing and maths-ing and remedial-ing. and especially since i haven't been training, due to my back, this week is really damn wasted. ugh sucks.

in any case, i reallyyy need to see a proper doctor who will do something about my back. my back is killinggg me and am currently only on painkillers which is so totally not curing whatever crap tt's happening to my back! GAR! so yar visiting the polyclinic either tmr or wed and then getting a referral for the sports clinic at alexandra hospital yupyup..
i kinda hope it's nothing so'd i can get back to training.. but somehow im also hoping it's something just to show tt i haven't been paranoid all this while and tt i really did hurt my back. cos yeah it really does hurt like crazy..
today i went to look at the canoe board.. lol silly picture of me looking like a buffalo in my t1.. but anw, i got reminded of my personal goals..

recuperate
just came back from the polyclinic with a 10day mc from heavyduty activities ie canoeing.
nyeh im sure as hell gonna flab up like crazy.. doc wrote tt i have muscle strain on my back.. but he said some stuffs bout muscle tearing and developing into more/stronger muscles.. =/ i duno he wasnt all tt clear.. but he said canoeing is hardcore and i have very hard muscles hahaha!
anws the past few days have been a whirlwind of activities and im teh shagged.
Batch jln raya 3-4/11/07
was really amazing. haha it really is the best jln raya we've had in years.. the guys really are a fun bunch and they seem way more bonded than us girls who have for the previous years, stuck to our own cliques.. well there are the girls who keep sidling up to the guys and there were the random bunch who just hung out together and i think i managed pretty well without nana the first day cos she couldnt come..
some memorable moments:
1. family shots. haha basically we took group shots of those who wore same coloured clothes. mine was pretty traumatising i must admit but hoho all in the name of fun i guess..
2. makcik canteen! and her amazing baked chicken omg yummy. and khairul leading the doa thing which happened to be the stuff he baca-ed "lepas sholat" =/
3. bus uncle who played along with us in the driving off escapade and his mischievious grin lol..
4. the scarily smart-mouthed little boys at adly's hse.
5. the kitten that got stuck at the gate of the house next to hab's. and taufiq stepped on cat poo.
6. LOL-ing jokes in the bus and the guys' retarded reactions.
7. camwhoring like mad
8. the dudes thumped down the stairs at mairah's house. madness woo!
9. karaoke at taa's. khairul and ain have awesome voices! =)
10. the guys jamming at ari's house. they were really honestly very good. and they were somewhat stripped waist up and hence the girls couldnt enter ari's smelly room, plus it was really smelly in there. in any case, it made me realize tt i wanted to be a boy! so i asked farish whether he'd like to switch bodies, and his reply was, "what's the difference?" ACK.
oh but then taufiq taught me how to drum the first bit of Starlight and it was really difficult but fun! adly and ari claimed tt taufiq took forever to learn anw so i shall take comfort in that haha!

Class chalet! 5/11/07
was unbelievably fun.. i cant believe we actually pulled it off! with it being last minute and all.. THANK YOU longqing for booking the chalet! haha and i was really worried that the food wouldnt come since i only ordered the food on sunday.. got the confirmation call on monday morning itself during trg lol..
ohyes and i planned the chalet without realizing that i had trg monday morning too lol.. so anw after trg, i took a straight bus from bishan to pasir ris int tt took less than 1hr woo! so yar we had lunch at whitesands, only 9 of us then haha.. then we got bubble tea and proceeded to walk to downtown east, stopping for some time at the playground otw.. the huge puddle under the swings! the mad seesaw! the hot slide and the main attraction! *drumrolls.. THE STRANGE SPINNING THINGEY! which left nigel and fungs giddy and pukey haha! i must get yq to send me the vid lol.. yup then we walked to costa sands pasir ris..
checked in, loaned out the bbq pit thing and waited awhile for the cleaning ppl to wrap up before we could put our stuff in the chalet.. then zijian arrived so now we had a ball to play with! so we went to the park outside and the grass was real muddy so we took off our shoes and played soccer at capt ball in the mud hoho! it was really gross at first but we kinda got used to it tho we ended up with only 6 ppl in the end haha..
yupyup got back to the chalet, washed feet and the food then arrived.. then while the dudes attempted to start the fire, i went to shower since i hadnt showered after trg and was getting really stinky.. =/
yup then the bbq was awesomely exciting and we discovered hidden cooking talents in ppl like linda and fiona haha! and fiona has firebreath! and i have great talent in slashing chicken yeahh!=D the food was too much tho oops.. haha after eating, we just sat ard outside singing so many random songs, cheered raffles cheers while choking on the bbq smoke and eventually lost our voices haha! we were like madmen and extremely noisy compared to the bunch of ajc ppl in the chalet next to us haha! yar and royce/nick brought their ps2 and it was funn! me and zr suck at the car racing game haha! okay fine i was worse but tt's cos i wasnt familiar with the controls pfft!

was an eye-opener. it was actually na's cip thing where she's sposed to tutor the bunch of kids there.. smu sucks btw, for initiating the project but leaving it in the lurch by expecting the rj ppl to "expand" the project. tsk.. yup so the turnout for the kids were little and there were too many volunteers, so the station games were abandoned and so the guys played soccer with the boys and the half of the girls played dog-and-bone while the other half were playing polar bear amongst themselves.. after our turn, na and i approached the older girls there, who were training up for a street netball competition next sunday, and we played a friendly match.. the girls were realllyy good and they're pretty cool too.. -nods.. oh but at one time, i jumped and landed on my right foot strange and now i have a damn pain ankle poots..
yup then i took a break so we ventured to the soccer field to watch little iskandar play a penatly shootout with one of the rj guys.. sho cute.
then we moved on to the playground where two small girls were playing.. we played at the monkey bars awhile and then Crocodile when more kids started arriving.. catching.. spun some of the few kids around and around.. etc. those kids are really hyper manz and they were hardly tired whilst na and i on the other hand were dead shagged hoho..
hmm the experience was really fun.. i was scared of the kids at first cos they were all so noisy and rowdy.. they really are quite naughty and i spose the other volunteers weren't as disturbed as i was cos they didnt understand the multitude of malay vulgarities tt the little kids spewed.. i didnt quite understand some of the terms either cos it was mat lingo.. =/
and violent omg they can get so violentt! scolded some of em a few times for their language and actions..
in any case, i think i've done okay enough time with the Special olympics, and they have enough publicity to do well for themselves, so now, im gonna try to do something for the less priveledged kids in the malay society. i know i once said tt i wanted to be an MP, truth be told, i wanted it so tt i can help others And myself at the same time.. but i realize tt im politically-illiterate anw so i'd be quite useless.
ultimately, in the future, i wanna open a daycare or activity centre tt targets the kids of the primary school range, who are left at home while their parents work. i know quite a number of kids get sent off to the various daycares in spore, but these places are usually ex. the kids tt im targetting are those whose parents aren't very well off. left to their own devices, they often mix around with the wrong crowd, learn all the wrong things tt lead to their downfall and get sucked in further into the world which they've grown up i. the kind of life tt i seek to help them break free from. it's so painful to see all these children tt have the potential to live fuller lives, but are unable to see beyond the walls tt they are confined to.
i wish i had more time. more time to help others and do something more worthwhile. something else to worry about other than myself and my grades. but i also have to be aware that if i want to truly do something for these people, i must first get myself somewhere. be someone who has the power to do something more than just simple volunteerism. until then..
okay i shall now rest my back, which is starting to ache bad boos.

was an eye-opener. it was actually na's cip thing where she's sposed to tutor the bunch of kids there.. smu sucks btw, for initiating the project but leaving it in the lurch by expecting the rj ppl to "expand" the project. tsk.. yup so the turnout for the kids were little and there were too many volunteers, so the station games were abandoned and so the guys played soccer with the boys and the half of the girls played dog-and-bone while the other half were playing polar bear amongst themselves.. after our turn, na and i approached the older girls there, who were training up for a street netball competition next sunday, and we played a friendly match.. the girls were realllyy good and they're pretty cool too.. -nods.. oh but at one time, i jumped and landed on my right foot strange and now i have a damn pain ankle poots..
yup then i took a break so we ventured to the soccer field to watch little iskandar play a penatly shootout with one of the rj guys.. sho cute.
then we moved on to the playground where two small girls were playing.. we played at the monkey bars awhile and then Crocodile when more kids started arriving.. catching.. spun some of the few kids around and around.. etc. those kids are really hyper manz and they were hardly tired whilst na and i on the other hand were dead shagged hoho..
hmm the experience was really fun.. i was scared of the kids at first cos they were all so noisy and rowdy.. they really are quite naughty and i spose the other volunteers weren't as disturbed as i was cos they didnt understand the multitude of malay vulgarities tt the little kids spewed.. i didnt quite understand some of the terms either cos it was mat lingo.. =/
and violent omg they can get so violentt! scolded some of em a few times for their language and actions..
in any case, i think i've done okay enough time with the Special olympics, and they have enough publicity to do well for themselves, so now, im gonna try to do something for the less priveledged kids in the malay society. i know i once said tt i wanted to be an MP, truth be told, i wanted it so tt i can help others And myself at the same time.. but i realize tt im politically-illiterate anw so i'd be quite useless.
ultimately, in the future, i wanna open a daycare or activity centre tt targets the kids of the primary school range, who are left at home while their parents work. i know quite a number of kids get sent off to the various daycares in spore, but these places are usually ex. the kids tt im targetting are those whose parents aren't very well off. left to their own devices, they often mix around with the wrong crowd, learn all the wrong things tt lead to their downfall and get sucked in further into the world which they've grown up i. the kind of life tt i seek to help them break free from. it's so painful to see all these children tt have the potential to live fuller lives, but are unable to see beyond the walls tt they are confined to.
i wish i had more time. more time to help others and do something more worthwhile. something else to worry about other than myself and my grades. but i also have to be aware that if i want to truly do something for these people, i must first get myself somewhere. be someone who has the power to do something more than just simple volunteerism. until then..
okay i shall now rest my back, which is starting to ache bad boos.

OP no more!
YES YES YES IT'S OVER! :D
well 3 more groups are having their Op now hoho..
wasnt too bad la i guess.. my script's cut into 3 and i was reallyy nervous during the first part but okay la.. pris's grp thinks i sound like im flirting with the audience when i present.. well na says that she heard somewhere that you're sposed to 'make love' with your audience, or something..
ack my Q&A was nyeh-ish.. in any case, i honestly forgot what the qn is.. OH something about biggest challenge of pw or whatnots.. =/ some ppl kinda bombed pw tho.. ohwells..
was sposed to meet nw today but he's not feeling well. yar so i watched Twister with fiona and am now sposed to do I&R.. =/
quite alot of stuff coming up and i better draw up my study plan soon or else i wont be able to fit any study time and soon the hols will be over.. gack.

not tt much stuffs planned but exciting nonetheless..
hmm well i heard tt quite a number of canoeists from other schools got retained.. luckily no rj canoeist got retained.. i think it's cos the school's kind.. duno what they intend to do with the huge drop in standard tho.. nyeh..
