One fine Friday morning, the little girl decided to go hike up bukit timah hill. so she went with her good buddy king kong.
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is a wonderful place that's infested with Huge mutant ants, spiderwebs and of course the ball-scratching monkeys. however, the tiny baby monkeys are very very cute when they climb the vine thingers.
the walk up the very steep initial slope was quite tiring for the little girl. it may be quite unnecessary to mention that the apelike creature that accompanied her climb had to carry a heavy bag. but surely there is no need to pity it. him. nyeh. furthermore, the odd duo, in enthusiasm, decided to run up the slope. resulting in them tiring out before the actual climb began.
the actual climb in actuality only consisted of a flight of stairs. Once again, the hunk of monkey wanted to be Maacho and ran up the stairs. the little girl who knew her limits made her way up at a constant pace and soon overtook the panting ape.
the climb wasnt the fun part though. after taking 5. then 10. then possibly 15 minutes of rest on the wet dewey grass. the two decided to take the non-stairs route down. it took a longer while to get to the fork where they took a turn to the quarry path instead. there they found nothing.
then they went back downn. and Then. in honour of one of the ncc core values, the two detoured among the dense vegetation and followed.. the Rock path..
like the name suggests. there were many rocks. and it was somewhat like ophir. fun. slightly dangerous. and fun. exciting. and did i mention fun? bwahas. so funn..
eherm. then they even found water! under a wooden bridge. it was beatiful.
then when they finally found their way out of the wilderness, they found that they had in fact climbed quite some distance back up the hill. then finally they ran the distance back to where they first started.
they then realized that they were quite famished. so they walked and walked and walked to macs at kap.
but before they reached the distant destination, the duo craved for more adventure! and hence walked on the railway track. bwee! they ran actually. because they were paranoid and figured that the train could come at any moment. they ran over the railway bridge near King albert park and they could see the cars that drove under. how excitingg!
then to reward themselves for the utmost effort in living up the core value that they for now and forever live by, they ate to their stomach's content. and kingkong really does eat alot alot alot. brain food..
moral of the day: ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT DUUDE!
the end.
eh bt hill so short sia. kinabalu here i come! in less then a month. freaky..
OH OH! and its fun to stalk on angklungers in school but just be aware of your visibility at times. so stupid. bah. hahs! bobblehead.. erts.
