Happy blog.: the time is now

stupid title hahaha! pretty good row today.. 11.6k on t1 and 2.4k on k4. when i went up for break during halftime, jiaolian said "today t1 very good! -pats back" O.o boat's gliding now apparently, no more jerky movements. just in time woo..

anw not every one of us had to do time trials cos some of us were confirmed rowing.. watching them row was kinda heartbreaking.. as in our teammates are in the lanes, fighting among themselves to row for nats, which is The competition we've worked so hard for, yet not everyone will get to compete in the end. i know tt nazzer says that competitive sports are all like that but still, it wasn't sposed to be this way.. ):

if prav manages to beat gaby on monday, there's a chance that she'll be competing.. 3 other j2 girls might not be competing as it is. and to think that im rowing two races. i feel awful, bother..

no 2k timing today but i pushed myself quite some yup.. i guess i basically tried to keep pace with meera and kept in my mind what i wanted to achieve for nats. gold for t1. i spose i've always had this goal from the start, but sometimes i'd think "how on earth am i sposed to beat certain unmentionable schools eh?" god and worse still i dont even know how the other t1s are faring at this point in time. the whole team is expecting no less than gold from me. yes there's relatively less competition for t1 cos there arent any nat team rowers but meh? no pressure whatsoever manz..

fyi every boat that gets thru to finals will contribute points to the school and if i manage to get gold, that's 6 points to rj. and that is why i simply must get gold. WAH stress. D:

didnt go for trg on thurs tho cos of fever (i bet it's cos we ran in the rain on wed!) and basically mugged at home.. met nazzer on fri to mug.. yar and we popped by the pc show awhile and i've decided tt i feel quite claustraphobic in huge crowds. dont like gar.. i love nazri yay! (random fact hoho)

fathers' day tmr. mom's going out with dad for wedding so then sisters and i are gonna prepare fried chicken, garlic bread and mashed potato. and ordering pizza YES! -happy!
