the run of hopes and dreams

CANOEING CAMP ROCKS MY GAY YELLOW SOCKS! I LOVE MY TEAMMATES SO VERY MUCH! =)))

so anw yeah, canoeing camp was really motivational and IMBA and totally awesome.. wahahahs.
so camp officially started at 5pm and i was relatively worried that camp was gonna kill me la honestly.. yar so we stored our bags in one of the rooms and were assigned our groups.. the j1 girls in my grp were minqi, seleene and meera.. haha so funn.. oh and the 4 grps were named after pokemon characters woots~!
ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAPDOS!

yarr then we played captn's ball for a super longg time. and it was pointed out to me how i tend to put my hands over my head whenever the ball comes flying directly overhead.. instincts lol! but it really is scary la esp when some tall dude is standing behind you and you obviously cant catch the ball.. in fact one time, some dude whacked me and said that he couldnt see me.. -.- im short bah.

then dinner! i got special halal food haha! and fried chicken. i think minqi was jealous lol.. but i wasnt hungry so i couldnt finish it and py said "siti dont tell me you've slowed down!" or someth along those lines.. O.o my stomach capacity has serioussly gone down..

yay then we watched Coach carter! OMG so many suicides and pushups they're nuts! ooh but then the show made me realize how super super exciting basketball is and how much i miss playing bball gahh..
oh yeah and the famous quote in the show:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others

SUPER INSPIRING PHWOARR! lol..

yup then we had the grp sharing thing. the j2s are really nice experienced ppl.. oh and canoeists cant sleep after 12 cos then we'll be like zombies the next day! no wonder i've been so dead lately! owells we didnt really get much sleep cos of the cold.. bah.

alarm rang at 5.45 and torture day was beginning.. di was mia and we were like super worried! apparently she had allergies and went home in the middle of the night.. woah scary.. had my dose of chewy bar and then we went for our morning runn.. 2 rounds around the school yay! but the air was like saturated or someth and i was sweating a hell lot.. mehness..

breakfast! NUTTELLA! WHEE! yup then the talk by the iron woman was kinda inspiring.. yup! she didnt want her nutella tho.. hmm maybe if i ate less nuttella, i will be stronger..

then it was pt time! omg hahahaaha~! 6 rounds of circuits! 30 pushups-hold 5counts for the last one. 35 situps. immediate 100m sprint. runn. 25 ipulls. 30 dips. sprints make my throat really dryy.. and soo is fast! lol i was leading the 5 rounds of sprints and like she sped past me for the 6th round. i dont think i slowed down but she definitely sped up.. haha imba canoeists woo!
omg yeahh and thanks to coach carter, we did Suicides! run to the first line, do 15 pushups, run back. run to the 2nd line, do 10 pushups, run back. run to the 3rd line, do 5 pushups, run back. 5 sets! at least we were told that we could just whack the pushups.. woots quite fun ah.. esp crawling to the starting line whenever jolene was starting her set.. haha!

yes then it was lunch! i got fried chicken againn! i was hungrier this time so i ate more but i still didnt finish the whole packet.. meh.. yes then we had STATION GAMES.

PART 1: hahaha so basically we were at the stadium and like we were grouped according to team and guys/girls. yar so there were really 8 teams ah. then like each team hadta run 2 rounds-up and down the stairs then round the pe block. while everyone else did 20pushups20crunches20pushups20crunches then plank till the team returns.. zapdos guys came back before we even finished our 2nd set of crunches haha! pro-ded dudes woahh! XD yupp then

PART 2: due to technical problems, we had to modify. we played cards! haha so Clubs: normal pushups. Diamonds: diamond pushups. Hearts: leg raisers. Spades: squats. haha yup and quantity was according to the nos. muddy suggested that we did commandos for Joker. O.o but we ended up doing down-J down-O down-k.. =/ yeah.. so we went down the pile.. everyone was laughing and really enjoying themselves cos haha the exercise was spazzingly fun.. oh the guys next to me kept switching places.. i think i was too stinky.. =(

and then we had the talk by j3s and j12s.. quite interesting stuffs.. but i was reaally shagged and i spent most of the time trying to stay awake mehh.. the j3s shirt was cool.. front says "live to eat" and the back says "eat my wash" hahaha so cool.. and finally we had the traditional induction.. the j2s pumped us 100/125 and they were scary.. but not as scary as ncc snrs hmm..

then the run of hopes and dreams.. it was reaally actually very nice.. the whole team minus the injured peoples running in one straight line.. then basically the last man would sprint to the front while yelling out why the wanted to join canoeing or what we hoped to acheive out of canoeing.. alot of interesting stuffs..
"i join canoeing cos..
-i want to impress the girls!
-i want to test my mental and physical strength!
-i want a hot bod! (eh hot redi la! mission accomplished! go home!)
-ky is my idol!
-i dont want ppl to call me a sissy(or someth)" etc.
i said "I join canoeing because im man enough and i love my teammates!"
WHEEEEE! =D
and so we ran four rounds around the sch within the sch compunds. it was really quite hot with the sun burning my neck and my poor ankle was already hurting before we began tskk. and then, (im not too sure what he said cos i was quite bleahhed already) "as canoeists, we usually have a final burst. so let's sprint starting from now!" so we sprinted from somewhere near the art room to the admin block. i ran with py and we only really really sprinted after 711. but it was really very wonderful how the rest of the team stood around the entrance of the admin block as we ran towards them and they cheered. lovelove the team..

so yeah last words and all muddy: "j2s, let's aspire to inspire before we expire". amazing.. yup and we were called up individually to receive our certs.. then washup then bus ride to marina bay..

so the rest of em had steamboat while me and meera had some junkfood cos the foodcourt was closed.. -.- ooh but helping them cook was funn.. haha! i left then early cos parents were pissed and while in the bus i saw that there was a malay foodstall quite nearby..-.- i knocked out for quite long in the train.. got home at 10. showered then slept for 12hrs.. whee i woke up feeling super well rested.. haha!

and the Below is very much accurate i think.. freaky.

You feel as if you have missed out on a great deal that life had to offer and you go about trying to make up for past failures. Naturally at times you get depressed and you try to compensate for your 'missed opportunities' by living your life to the full. This is what, perhaps, may be described as 'living with exaggerated intensity'. In this way you feel you can break the chains of the past and start again - and it could be that you are right.

You seem to lack the energy of late to get up and go. Your objectives appear to be unattainable and no one seems to care. You feel lost, neglected and need some W.T.C. (Warm tender care).

At times one is burdened with more than one's fair share of problems and this would appear to be your situation at present. But you are adamant - you know what you wish to achieve - and by giving a little and taking a little you may well find that the realization of your dreams could become a reality.

All of your stress arises from lack of mutual understanding. The existing situation is unsatisfactory and you feel that you are unable to improve it without the help and co-operation of others. The need for understanding and for affectionate 'give and take' remains unsatisfied. You are experiencing the feeling of being 'handcuffed' - 'tied down' - 'hindered' - 'restrained' and this untenable situation is giving rise to impatience, irritability and the desire to escape from it all.

You really would like to be completely uninhibited - to let your hair down - but you are held back by your sense of logic and rationalilty, since you realise that by simple stupidity you could lose everything - whatever that may be.
